True, but does that mean the engine will definitely self-destruct?

People who turbocharge are not known to be gentle on the throttle. Chances are good it will die quickly. Why spend 5k to turbocharge a tired engine. Makes absolutely no sense.

It might make sense to some people who cant afford a full engine rebuild but want a little more power out of it. I'm pretty sure there are guys out there who have turbo'd their engines with over 100k on em without destroying it. No?

I'm sure it has been done. Turbocharging will exacerbate any current problems. A compression check beforehand would be in order to identify any potential problems.

I was able to 'surrender' the video of him pulling away, pausing to see the damage, and then almost hitting a pedestrian when he zoomed away in a giant plume of exhaust from the scene. Here's hoping that helps them hold him accountable.

For once I was glad I had the truck and not the G because she isn't equipped yet (still shopping). I mounted my trucks behind the grill in a small ceramic coated plexi case to protect it from weather and make it easy to clean. But the cam is pretty old and isn't the greatest in low light. Not sure I would do the same kind of install/mount in the G because under the hood ambient temps are way higher than my truck and space issues. Any suggestions for cams or stealthy/not in plain sight install front/back cam?
Long time no see. I run a Yi cam behind my mirror and it's already made for some good YouTube uploads. It was $40.

A supercharger would be more friendly to a motor since it provides linear boost and not the sudden surge you get with a turbo.

Nice, thanks for the rec.

Been on the road in the truck and missing my G a lot lately. But will be stationary for a while, so I can get some drive and work time in on the G

Scooped 4080 box about a month ago and just ordered a sundown 10 for the tunes.
Hope to get some work done on seat covers this weekend. Right now my passenger seat cover is literally a heap of labeled scraps and a diagram...but all good things start with making a mess.

Replaced the factory spark plugs yesterday. 121k miles on them and they looked okay. Only issue might be that the gap appears to have increased (I'll try and check them) over time but the car ran very well. The car does seem or feel to run a bit smoother but I also am a firm believer in imagining improvements when you change/fix things. Will see if there's any MPG increase over the ~19 mpg I get routinely (overall MPG).
