Anyone here with ITB's?

So I was looking around online at different itb setups and realized I haven't seen any on here. I was wondering if anyone on her has them and if so what were the results? I'm really curious as to how the cable system was rigged up as well. I know this would definitely require custom tuning. I'd just like more info on the whole setup including the results, rigging, tuning, and which itb setup you have.

nobody does ITB's because they're stupid expensive. Just the ITB kit is $3000, not including the fuel system, you have to run a full standalone EMS, and spend gobbs of money on tuning since it takes forever to get them synced perfectly and tuned, not to mention that you will need extensive headwork and a high compression build to make it even remotely worthwhile.... I priced out a build once and it was almost exactly the same as a built block twin turbo build. All for 320 whp.

Yea they're definitely expensive right now. I'm sure the price will come down eventually when more people use them and work out the kinks of the system.

wow dont see why the cost is so high...... ive seen ITB's on AE86's and 510's for like under a grand, i think they use street bike throttle bodies. granted its a four banger but man 3k wow

Building cars for boost is a much better way to make hp than na.

Kinda old (2006) but DEFINITELY worth a look. Its a R32 with a VQ35DE with ITBs. One of the cleanest ITB sets ups Ive seen on a VQ.

and according to the owner this ITB set up cost him 4.3k

Our platform is 10years old, things are not coming down much more...besides the cost of the car. ITB are and will always be expensive for our cars especially considering the difficulty we have making NA power it's not like there is a line up of people looking to buy ITB kits.

Google SG Motorsport they had a big ITB set up making decent power but they went of buisness last I heard.
