Buying a G35 but I can't decide! Help me!
Ok, so i'll be picking up a Lakeshore Slate G35, fully loaded.. but I have no idea whether I should go with a coupe or a sedan. I like the coupe because of the way it looks, and because coupes are just more fun to drive, but the sedan is a lot more practical, and is lighter than the coupe. Then again, the coupe has a better stock suspension, but the sedan has comes in manual too.. I'M SO LOST! HELP ME DECIDE GUYS haha.. I'm picking it up this coming weekend and I need to decide ASAP.. Thanks for your help ahead of time :)

Coupe... still has a back seat in case of an "emergency". Sounds to me like you don't really plan on using the rear seats much anyway.
|
yeah, I think it boils down to practicality. For me, the coupe not having enough of a trunk was the deal-breaker for me. I think they're both great!
|
If the G35 is going to be your only car, I would get the Sedan. Congrats and enjoy! ;)
My brother has a 6MT sedan and I love all the extra room, which is afforded in the rear seats and the trunk. |
Coupe or Sedan...............?
What???? If you don't need those two extra doors
why would you want to haul them around? The coupe is by far the better looking of the two and it's a major fun to drive. :D |
buy mine... please :) already moded... never messed with the engine besidesintake :)
|
you have a family? kids - the coupe wont be so good for that
but coupe has a cooler exhaust note :) |
lol i'm 20, going to ucla, but i also work at a car shop.. i do need something practical since i'm doing my real estate agent training and will be taking clients are very soon.. but i am young, and i've finally saved up enough to buy a nice car to drive and i've always loved the g35 coupe.. lol i'm so stuck!

Enjoy your new Sedan. ;) |
sometimes i wish i had bought a sedan instead. sometimes i get pretty close to thinking i should trade for a Sedan.
I have two cars, but the other is a roadster, so that says little about that. |
I'm really leaning towards the Coupe because it just looks 10x better.. ahhh, only 5 more days to decide lol
|
The coupe does look great, but if you plan on taking clients out there is only one answer. The Sedan:cool: .
|
there is a reason why the coupe has 4 seats =). get the coupe its way better looking

i will get my coupe in a week or so.. and it will be the only car :) |
if you are gonna drive clients around, get the sedan... no one wants to wait for you to fold the front seats forward just to get in and out of the car... they'll probably think you are not serious with your business approach...
and yeah, as for practicality, i don't regret getting the sedan at all even as much as i adore the look and sportiness of the coupe especially still being single at 29 yrs.... and yeah, i still have my 2k2 6spd sedan... most of the situations i've encountered recently, the sedan was up to the task, and i'm never left thinking, dang i should have gotten a sedan.... it was more like, dang, this is why i got the sedan... the sedan looks good doing what it does anyway... now all it needs is some 350z oem springs and some tokico d-specs and it will definitely finish the look... well still gotta tint the windows too... |
