LOU: Just keep the G. If you keep it under 60, you will see how much gas you will save.
Lou tough decision you are faced with. I too would like to get rid of the G eventhough I love it a lot. My thing is that I'm tied up in a 3 year lease and can't afford to back out now but my needs changed from the time when I got the G. I will be getting into motorcycle racing and will need to be able to tow/transport my bike and a whole bunch of gear/equipment for track days. I would probably be going the compact pick up truck route though. Until that happens I guess a lot of Uhaul rentals for me. Anyway, I'm getting off topic here I say go with your gut mang. You are still young and will have plenty of time to get more luxury rides. Do what makes more sense for you at the time

Well guys I came from Paragon Honda dealer and the deal is almost done
I was there for 3 hours trying to get the $27K for my G cause they only wanted to offer me $25K
when I was walking out they finally said OK how about $26K and as I drove off they called me on my cell and offered me $26,500K for my G.
they want $23,500 for the honda civic hybrid with navi because of the high demand on limited production.
I am gonna shoot for $22,500 for the hybrid with navi and stay at $27K for my G trade in.
What do you guys think ???
here are pics of the hybrid

No offense man, but if you're pondering selling the Civic within a year, I think you should be buying used anyway. Sell your G and buy a car that you could afford outright. If you don't, you'll end up losing thousands everytime you turn a car over. Driving out of the dealers lot depreciates a car a lot.
Go buy yourself a 2000 Sentra SER before you buy another new car. That'll be the best way to ensure you are financially sound. Personally, I think you're just looking for an excuse to get the new Civic!
EDIT AFTER I SAW YOUR LAST POST: Dude, its an econocar, it ain't pretty, but it gets the job done. Keep the G, you've already paid a lot of it, continue doing so!
