like i said im still new to this
Bro you have a DP coupe. Your car is definitely an 04, this was the last year DP was offered as a color choice, before they dropped it for SS. My opinion is DP>SS.

Plus having that color, your'e in pretty good company

Good Luck with your new car! I find it funny though that you consider that color rare. Not sure where you live but New Jersey is littered with Gs that color. Rarerest color in my experience is Athens Blue. Then probably Lake shore slate. Then Laser Red. I think the color preference seems to be regional. Its still a great color.

Been looking at G35 coupes for 3 years and when time came to pick I took the serengeti sand, (second choice was IP). I love its look, how it hides dirt, and how I've seen only 1 other one in my area. As great as the other colors look, I see them everywhere, and I was partial to the wheat interior, which limited me to only a few colors.

Read alot of thread that had SS as the worst color.. fine by me.. I think its silly to say so, or that white is a chick color... Its a color, not a gender statement.
This pic was hours after purchase.. since then I added tint, clear bra and getting a unique receiver for bike transport.

Maybe I should call myself "Quick Sand"

Serengeti Sand and Athens Blue - 2 colors of the G that I've never seen (except for my own Athens Blue G). When I do see G35 coupes, they're always Black, Grey, or White. There's a Laser Red one that gets parked a block from my house. But that's it.

I wonder where we can find the stats of how many of each color were produced for a given model year. Anyone know? I'd love to see some statistics

Dont forget the Lakeshore slate, is a rare one too, I was actually gonna get the serengeti color, but at the end decided with the LS
here is a poll that was taken a while back, it shows you how rare our cars are.
