wrecked g's please help...pic!
 

so im driving to work yesterday and some little college freshman driving mommys paid for mercedes pulls out in front of me and i try to avoid him, lock up the breaks and try to turn down a side road...long story short, i have a crushed in front left quarter, trashed bumper and side skirt and my wheel is scrached and chipped up...heres the questions i have...i plan on getting everything fixed through insurance and wanted to know if there is a way to take advantage of this terrible situation...instead of a stock bumper is there a way i can get a nismo replica, i have RH Pro J8's with a custom gunmetal powdercoating and i believe its the older style J8, how hard is this going to be to fix and get color matched....if anyone has had any unfortunate experience with this any help would be appreciated.....im sick to my stomach and dont know where to go next...sorry for the long post.

your body shop can prob work somethin out with you on the aftermarket bumper, im not sure about the wheels, cuz only one of them is damaged. Good luck with the repairs, and im sorry about your accident.

Take your G to a great body shop and talk to the
owner about getting the parts you want to add. Cost
of the parts may not be any diffrent than factory.
The body shop should know someone that will repair
your J8s in your area.......LOL

you can have ins pay for it... if they dont want to pay for the wheel.. you can threaten that if anything happens to yo due to the wheel being unsafe, you'll sue the insurance company... yu can probably have them install an aftermarket bumper.. talk to the shop and the insurance adjustor... it would be cheaper than a stock bumper right so i dont think the ins company would mind

i didnt hit the car, the car hit me....the thing that pissed me off the most is that he asked me what I was doing and that i came out of nowhere! i almost lost it... does anyone know how much a new oem bumper costs compared to a replica nismo...im trying to find a silver lining in this whole situation and the only plus i see is getting the bumper repainted...how damaged does a bumper have to be to be replaced.

oh ur bumper is getting replaced for sure... oem bumper is about $220 Nismo replica is about $400 PM greddy set to.. paint should be about the same... you might also consider going with some Igns+1 fenders, and just pay the difference... and i know what u mean about ****ers that come out of no where... my pops has a truck with gaurd rails on it.. last year some ****er in a audi cut me off and smashed right into me... his tail hit my rails and spun out and got smacked by 2 other cars... some people are just terrible drivers out there, but good luck to you, and i hope everything works out
