Gas door won't open
 

Hmm all my doors are unlocked, I push the thing and it won't open. It's an 04 g35 coupe.. i called inifiniti, they're retards. Is there a lever or something that i can pull to open it? Thanks for the help

Hmmmm, DId you re-lock and unlock the doors? Try to open it with the engine running? Is there a button in the glove box like for the trunk? Never had that happen to me...

I'll see what I can find when I get a chance to get to my car..

It just a push pin that pops it out and I think a small magnet that holds it in place....

Yea.. i've unlocked and locked the doors, turned the car on.. left a door open, popped the trunk.. pretty much everything lol. I can't open it, and i really dont feel like prying it open in case i break something. bleh.. luckily the gas station is 30 seconds from my house or i would have been screwed..

there was a thread about this a while back. I'm pretty sure that if you pop the trunk and pull back the lining, there's a button or something that you can use to manually release the latch to open the gas door.

Pop the trunk and hit as hard as you can by the gas door [on the inside of the trunk] - you may have to pry up some of the carpet to get as close as you can.

The actuators go out all the time, mines been stuck before, just keep pushing on it and hitting around it. The dealer can fix it.

Ahh i figured it out guys, i stuck a credit card in there and opened it. I guess the spring was bent and it wouldn't release. THanks for the help guys, appreciate it :)

The same thing happened to me on my 03' coupe. In my case it was a little
spring mechanism that is i a little rubber boot that that pops the door open was broke.

That happened to me two weeks ago. Dealer will replace it under warranty don't break anything. look to see if you see my post about it. Look inside the trunk, take off the right side carpet molding. get a ice pick and remove all the push pins in the area two for the trunk cargo net hooks and 3-4 for the carpet molding. After you remove it you will see a white actuator lock there is a small knob or button on the right of it push or pull it gently and it will unlock the door. Mine failed cause after that It would NOT lock Dealer replaced it no probs just don't break the lock cause they won't replace it.

If this happens to you guys again, just stick a credit card in the gap. It worked for me and haven't had a problem with it again.
