Yea, it's not consistantly under 50-45 degrees out yet, so I'm also gonna try to hold out till about Thanksgiving. I have another set of OEM 18s with winter meats on, so I won't be missing anything. :D
The Z wheels fit the G well, IMO. Have safe fun in the winter. ;)

ttrank Nov 1, 2006 11:30 AM

At least it still looks good with those.

SeOuLG35 Nov 1, 2006 11:38 AM

but your G is clean and sick bro

I found the rims on the 350Z forum and had them delivered to my door
for $275 total (great deal IMO)

I bought the Blizzak WS-50 (225/50/17 & 225/55/17) for a total
of $640-

If you want to go a cheaper route? Maybe search the forums for a
used set of meats with rims.

Put mine on yesterday. Is there a way to override the TPS warning light for the winter?

TheKnite Nov 1, 2006 12:57 PM

I found my winter set in the marketplace section of these forums.
As for the TPS question, if all 4 wheels do not have TPS sensors in them, you should not have a TPS light on in the dash.

I have a 19 inch in my trunk temporarily. Haha, better get rid of it! Thanks!

ya I am glad that I dont have winter

UMBG35 Nov 1, 2006 08:51 PM

A quick question before I head out to Sears. I have one of the basic sears auto tool sets and it stops at 18mm. It obviously doesn't fit the lug nuts that come on the 05 with 19s so what is the proper size to remove the lugs? 19mm?

For those interested in buying used wheels. I got a used set of 03 Base 350Z wheels at www.my350z.com.
I believe I paid 450. It has an almost new Michelin Alpins on the rear and stock summer potenza re40s on the front. I order Falken ziex 512 to replace fronts yesterday. **I've never had problems running different brand of tires on cars nor all-season/winter combo. Currently, I have stock RE050 on the front and falken fk452 in the back.
