stock exhaust+headers+HFC's=????
 

does anyone have this setup...i dont have the funds to get a full exhaust and want some sound with the stock tone, however i dont want any rasp...ive heard tp's will rasp with stock exhaust i just want to know if headers (which are already on the car) and HFC's will rasp

i have that set up and it sounds really good...just beware that hfc are known to create a vibration/rasp/metalonmetal/etc noise around 3-4 rpm...but overall the performance is a big improvement and it sounds really mean in upper rpms while still sounding deep and retaining that gurgle in the lower rpms...its worth it imo.

Just note a current sound clip will reflect all his other mods. The Plenum, Z-tube...etc. I heard the plenum changes the exhaust note

If that's what you have the money for right now then start there. Add an exhaust when you can. It will sound good.

I'm in the same boat. My plan is headers and HFC with the stock exhaust. I already have MREV :)
