Sounds like you're doing the right thing. Best of luck.

Oh, and one more piece of advice I can offer you - if it's the insurance company paying for your damages, EXPLOIT IT TO THE FULLEST! :P Just think of your car insurance when you're doing it

man fck everyone here, if this happened to you, would you seriously say, im not going to sue. i'll have my insurance pay for the repairs and call it a day?

a fuking light pole smashed ur g35. if that happend to me, i would want a new one at the very least...

suing wendys would teach them a good lesson. take care of ur property or else.... which is why they carry INSURANCE.

Wendy's is a big company, not some mom and pop shop. they have money and i can guarantee they will spend it to make sure they wont end up paying u a dime.

when the owner shoved the paper to ur face, he was saying its ur fault for parking next to a light post which you probably sawed off last night.

-------
oh yeah, there is nothing wrong with seeing a chiropractor. they are legit. a ****ing doctor will give you a pill to "hide" the pain away. which is why they have to be licesned. cause thats more money of the government.

a chiropractor uses "natural" healing techniques that works. and since its "natural" and tax free, the government doesnt like that. also the rich *** pharmacutical (spelling) don't like that either. they want to sell you and let you use a much pills as possible.

but its ur neck. go to whoever u are most comfortable with.

You won't get millions from this, but you could possibly get somewhere in the $50k-$100k range easily. I'm in the middle of a lawsuit right now because of my eye being all messed up due to professional negligence. I'm permanently deformed from it as my eye has shrunk and my vision will never be returned to 100%, even after my next surgery (4th surgery on the eye in 18 months).
Just be sure to get a good lawyer and don't talk too much about the situation. You could also exaggerate things a litte .

trust me, u can get a couple mil from this. remember that old fart lady who spilled coffee on herself?

if she could get more then $4 for spelling coffee on herself, you for sure can get a new car + some $$$ for the damages and injuries from a light pole hitting ur car and then ur head...

I don't think so. The award to that lady was reduced by the judge or on appeal to less than $200K, much of which went to her lawyers.

I would really try to have your car totalled if at all possible, as I can't imagine it being the same after that. In that case, you're entitled to a replacement (same value as the one destroyed) or the car's value, plus any medical expenses, plus a little pain & suffering for having a pole drop on you. Think about how you want to proceed. You should discuss with your lawyer how to involve your insurer, who may or may not cover the falling pole under your policy. Your cause, though, is going to be against the property owner, Wendy's, and the franchisee who operates that restaurant. Good luck, and keep that pen in your pocket for now.

Claim the pole caused PTSD which in turn has resulted in ED. Ask for a Million and settle for 500K.
