Sexy! how hard was it to apply the overlays? i heard they can be very tricky...im interested in getting overlays also

brianyun Dec 15, 2006 05:27 PM

its acually really hard. this was like 3rd time applying and i had to rebuy the right side light. it looks better in pictures and from far away. if you get close up to the car you can see alot of bubbles. but its only been 2 days so its going to get better. i recommend you do this if youve put on vinyls before. bluebat is a great guy but the overlays are hard to put on if you are a beginer like me :D. so if you have time, and it helps if its really sunny out.

Ya, I'm right ther with you. I just recently put the full overlays on my 2006 tail light, they were a pain in the *** because of the humps on the lights. What I did to get rid of the tiny bubbles was take a needle and poke the bubbles and squeeze the air out, I suggest you try that after a week or so.

Finally Brian! Your an expert now at applying Overlays :). Looks really nice. Pop the bubbles with a needle or pin, it should flatten out after a day or so ;).

looks nice but i just think the lr tails dont need to be touch they match the color of the car and i think any mods takes away from the flow of the rear

norcal_chan96 Dec 16, 2006 04:11 AM
