My Doors don't like me!!
 

Is it just my Car or do the doors to the G close too easily. I swear I've had my leg smashed by the heavy door like 10x. Every time I open the door and i think its set in a grove and will stay the smallest amount of momentum or wind blowing closes my door, sometimes on me... lol. I don't even have to close my door when I get out. I open, step out, walk off and that momentum closes it for me, then I just lock it. Its kind neat sometimes. Does this mean I need to have those lil slide guides repalced:confused:

haha yea seriously my driver side door closes with no effort at all...its a pain to vacum my car since my driveway is at an incline when i clean the inside the door always slams close on my legs. my passenger side seems normal though and stays open until u push it shut.

Yup i always prepare myself to have the door slam on my shin. Solve the problem by gettin Lambo doors. I hear they are the next wave of the future for our cars.

My doors are like that and I do the exact same thing sometimes.

At times I like it but when I want the door to stay open I have to make a conscious effort to open it all of the way.

+1 ^i've gotten used to it always closing so much that sum times i'll start to walk off and it has closed...lol, it does get annoying when you are trying to keep the door open in tight areas. But i'll live with it. My car is a live.....:eek:

I thought it was just me. The doors weigh like a million pounds so you would think it would be hard to move them, but that's exactly why they do move. They weigh a lot so any sort of incline will make em' close on ya' :)

you just gotta be quick about it lol. i throw my door out, get out and walk away.. i'm actually suprised when the door doesn't close... :)

I read the title, opened the thread, and laughed pretty hard my dog looked at me funny. I was at the ATM last night, NO incline, NO slope whatsoever. A car pulls in to go after i do, i open the door and as im getting out the door attacked me. I could see the person laughing at me as i got out, finally. JERK :mad: But it kinda made me laugh too, one of those, "not my fault i looked like an idiot" moments. Well, it was funny to me atleast! :p

Damn, I thought I was the only one. It was so wierd that the driver door would close but the passenger door stayed open.

Just had the door stopper replaced last Friday; I haven't parked on an incline yet to test new door stopper. I'll report back.

yeah man, the door is effortless when it comes to closing, but opening it is a biotch.
