Shouldn't This Be Covered Under Warranty?

Recently I noticed that the driver's side interior side panel (in the back seat) had come loose along the bottom of the window. No, I haven't had any aftermarket work done. No Idea how it happened. Car only has 11,000 miles on it. Took it to the dealership and they told me that it's impossible for the clips to have broken off without somebody deliberately trying to remove the panel, and that they have to contact their Infiniti rep to see if it the repair will be covered under warranty. I asked him if the car was supposed to start falling apart after 11,000 miles. Hopefully this won't turn into a pissing contest. Any thoughts? Shouldn't this be covered under warranty?

warranty

that is normal dealership crap, they only really wanna fix stuff that they can turn a profit on for their techs. Talk to the manager and say that you didn't have this problem with your last lexus:D that got mine to replace my alot of stuff on my car

Just bitch cuz they know it's covered. They just don't want to hassle with fixing stuff a small part. Hey if it'll make them feel better, break something else in the car. lol

My dealership had tried to avoid things as well.

wouldnt be surprised if they pulled the panel off during a bulletin (such as the gas line problem)

when they ripped my car apart for a seat fix... i noticed (a couple months later) the plastic cover for the tracks was broken in the front and back and came off easily. not going to worry about it. going to trade the car in a few months anyway.

ppp

dont listen to the dealership guys, they just dont want to put in the effort for someone who has already bougth the car from them.

yes, of course it is under warranty and dont let them tell you otherwise
