If there is an electronic signal then it should be easier to shift, because the computer corrects it for you

perhaps,but ive never seen a throttle cable short to ground, or not respond due to resistance or who knows. many things affect electrical components.thats the point im trying to make.

infact they shut down a freeway close to me because a guy's fly-by wire system failed some how and his car wouldnt stop. true story.

no need to blame it on the drive by wire. G35's throttle response is one of the best in its class. It just takes time to get used to the smooth shifting, thats all.

I can shift at 5K rpm at every gear, smoothly, and only way you'd know I shifted a gear would be by you physically seeing me move the shifter, or from the sound of the motor. Im that smooth papa....
