HELP! clutch pedal vibrating.
HELP! clutch pedal vibrating.
Hey guys, i got a 2004 G35 Coupe (manual transmission) with 14,200 miles on it. I just bought it about a month ago. Well the clutch pedal is vibrating every time i step on it to change the gears. The pedtal it self isn't vibrating but you feel a vibrating sensation when you step on it to change the gears. Since i bought the car used, and its been a month the warrenty from the dealer has expire but i should still have the factory warrenty on it right?. my question is: Should it be vibrating like that? Will the factory warrenty cover the repair if it is needed?
normal... the clutch is hydralic, so the pedal you are pressing on is actually directly controlling the clutch, and thus you can feel some stuff through it that other cars with say... cable clutches would not let you feel.
Similar to the reason you can feel the imagine revs, bumps, and other things thru the shifter.

This is normal. There's a ton of vibration and harshness communicated through the clutch pedal during shifts. This is especially evident when in reverse and feathering the clutch as you maneuver the vehicle. Its just the way the G is. You'll get used to it
