A quick "Mike's Mount" question
 

I have the Escort 8500 X50, and just have mikes mount and the invisicord sitting in front of me.

anyways, i did a mock fit, and for the bracket that holds the suction cups is at about 45 degrees (causing it to point upwards at not fit at all) when it looks like it SHOULD be more towards the 90 degree spectrum

I guess what i'm getting at is, am I SUPPOSED to bend the bracket to fit?

I just want to make sure and so that in case I'm not supposed to, then I'm stuff with a bent and maybe flimsy bracket

Yup you gotta put some elbow grease on that clip and bend it. Best thing is to insert the clip into the mount, install the mount then bend it.

where did u order ur mount? ive been trying to find one

you have to order it directly from the guy. i forgot his forum handle but if you do a quick search it should come up easily.

He makes great stuff. I have had my V1 mount for about a year now and it's still perfect.

i know he has a website ive seen it but im ready to order now and cant find it
