Although I don't drive my G during winter, its still a little dirty in the garage and I feel bad. So I will wash it, that way when snow is gone its clean and ready! Also, I want to use it on my other car.

Got any tips on using this stuff? I will order some for sure.
If you actually need to wash your car during the winter, I would definitely recommend QEW. Take a look at the link below for some good details as to how to use QEW.

If your G isn't driven in the winter and you want to keep the dust off it, I would highly recommend a QD like Poor Boys Spray & Wipe.

Have fun.

Anyways, I pull into the bracket just fine, go through the carwash, and when I go to pull out of the bracket, it bottoms out right on my front left splash guard behind the tire and breaks a big chunk out of it and cracks it up to the top...

I hate it for life. I should have just washed it myself I guess, it's too freaking cold though!

At least it was just the splash guard and I can get another one easily I would think, heh.
learn from your mistakes and move on. carwash= suc as$

+1000. I always taken great care of my cars in the past, but I just never took care of them the right way. I would wash my car with one bucket of water, not two buckets........use cotton towels to apply wax, not MF towels.....etc. Thanks to a fellow member (picus112) and autopia.org, I have learned how to take care of my G the RIGHT way. Just like anything else in life, doing something the right way and being good at it takes knowledge and experience.

The only carwash to go to is a "Laserwash". Nothing besides water, soap, and air, touches any part of your car.

He said it's a touchfree...

Yeah we have one too and I was terrified when I got my car dropped. Luckily nothing like this happened though.

Sounds like this is one where you put your car in N and it pulls it forward? Only drive through carwash I've used, and will use, is one where I pull in and stop. No tracks. The touchfree equipment just moves around the car.
