well, im in the DC/MD/VA area and just attended the formula d drifting event at summit point, wv. turnout was great and got to see a lot of the drift cars including the #1 charger and the r34 with the awesome paint job. well, as i was parking on the side of the track, i was in 2nd gear and there was a lil dip (about 2") from the track to the grass/dirt area. as my car moved forward and cleared the dip, i heard a loud "clank" sound come from where my clutch/transmission area. should i be worried or is it normal to hear that "clank" sound while my car is going over a dip in gear?

 

its most likely nothing, its probably just the plastic skid plate that is rather large below the car
