Driver's side window won't roll down. . .
 

Hi everyone,
Been a while for me to post here. . .
I'm glad I checked in tho, cuz I got new rotors and pads all around at 22k miles for my G! I think I can squeeze another in right before the 36000/3 year deal finishes up. Anyway, after I got my car back from the dealer that did the brake change (and replaced my captain's seat since it was rocking) I found that my driver's side window doesn't roll up any more. The passengers side is fine. I tried holding up the switch to see if it needed to be reset if the guys at the dealer pulled the battery (for a brake job, why? sensors i guess) but no joy. It just won't work, up or down. Passenger's side is fine. Drivers, no go. I checked all the tricks that tinters do to see if something was "holding" the window up, but still no luck. Anyone with any ideas, please lemme have 'em b4 I have to take it back to the dealer. . .

any pressure felt on the window when you hold the button down?
It seems like motor might have gone bad.... Just take it back to the dealer~

juss mine wont go up....on passenger side
we are reversed hahaha

Same issue with mine...it was the motor also. That happened to me around 18K miles. I'm at 24K now. Sunroof also stopped working about the same time.

When mine started occasionally stalling, I gave it a little push down while holding the switch. Once I got it down, it would go back up and work normally for a while. Listen carefully to determine if motor is trying to work. Had the motor replaced at my next oil change. Took about 20 min.
