frustrated about it rubbing against your neck. I guess when I yanked the seat belt, it assumed I was in a collision and it permanently locked up. So since it won't retract back, Infiniti has to replace the whole thing. Damn! Now I'm driving a '05 G35 sedan.

reason to get a set of those black plastic clips from WalMart, does a fine job of keeping it off the neck...

Just un buckle the thing let it go all the way back up and then pull it back down - it should disengage.

Not trying to be a smartass... well, maybe just a *tiny* one.

But I'm assuming that the dealership would've tried that before deciding to replace the entire seatbelt unit.

Remember the days when we were younger and our idea of "safe" was going UNDER 80mph while your friends naked butt hung out the window mooning the cute girls on the way to the beach? lol

Here's my solution for the seatbelt cutting into your neck.

It actually feels good!

I make these for some other car clubs and decided I needed one for the G.

yea good idea.. i hate the fact that the seatbelt keeps riding up against my neck and feels as if it's slicing me when I'm driving.
