Infiniti isn't stupid to do a remake in 2 years. This is just an incremental improvement and the price will increase to reflect this, thus not affecting 03/04 models in resale value.

I agree. It would seem pretty predictable that a price increase would accompany the interior remake. Given the fact that coupes are still getting close to MSRP in most deals after 1 1/2 years of production, you could say they're underpriced. Add value to the car with a new interior, raise the price (a grand? $1500?), and you should see '03-04 coupes continue to hold their value quite well IMHO.

A slight facelift with other upgrades after 2 years is normal for any car models.

Assuming that is true, would it be fair to say that the non-aero coupes could be in demand? I mean, for the used buyer that doesn't want aero. Could that possibly keep the non-aero resale $ up? Just a thought.

Yup, if this (aero kit with rear spoiler) turns out to be true, it will put me into an '04. I also like the current interior (which, depending on how it's changed, could also put me into an '04), but am holding out to see what '05 brings. If nothing else, it would be nice to get seat memory.

Re: 2005 G35 changes from Grubbs
my car is due to be shipped in within the next week or so
and now i'm hearing this. personally for me it took a while for the '04 interior to grow on me. initially i didn't like it, but after sitting in one i found it more appealing.
my dilemma right now is whether to hold out till i see the '05 interior change or just get my '04 later this month. is this interior change even definite? i've been waiting for my '04 since december.
what would you do? '04 this month? or wait for the '05

cynical - i would wait, especially if I initially didn't like the interior - you might regret it after you buy the car and the new interior turns out to be amazing. I personally like the current interior, but I've liked it from the beginning. Ofcourse, the new interior might not be what you want.......
Considering the source, I think the interior redesign is 99% certain. There should be pictures in mid April from NYC show - pray for a shipment delay, or just tell your dealer you are sick and cannot possibly pickup the car for two weeks

Re: 2005 G35 changes from Grubbs
I'm excited about the interior redo (although I've always been ok about the current one too) but a bit skeptical about the redesigned "aero look" front and rear bumpers. One of the things I like best about the G coupe is its restrained yet still very sporty styling - classy in the old school tradition of Porsche and Jaguar among others. I'm concerned the new areo bumpers may make the car a little too "ricey" for my taste, and unlike now, there'll be no other way to have it.

Re: 2005 G35 changes from Grubbs
well, originally i didn't like the g35 EXterior as well. until i saw a nice shiny black one at night reflecting the moon. after that i fell in love. i've been killing myself waiting 3-4 months for my 2004 to come in, and now the 2005 rumors have spread. i'm definitely going to the car show in nyc to check it out.
well i'll be on a cruise for a week when my car is supposed to come in so that'll hold back a week. i want pictures NOW!! : (
