So after paying infiniti 800 bucks to fix my radio because it kept staying on after I would shut car down, messing up my charging system. Ever since it's been a little hesistant to start up, this morning it won't even start. Radio, lights all work. last month they checked the alternator, got a new batter all that is fine. So my last option has to be a STARTER??? I hope it is, anyone know what the price is and is it a DIY. This really sucks because I have no other alternatives for traveling and I need to go to school/work.

WHAT A JOKE, service is closed on sundays.
Should I try to jump start it?

Thanks for the help

It might be the immobolizer function....Try this

1. Leave the ignition switch in the ON position for approx 5 seconds.

2. Turn the ignotion switch to the off position and wait approx 10 seconds

3. Repeat step 1 and 2

Right from the manual.....Just an idea

just jump started battery, good to go but weird because i didn't leave any lights on. Maybe because it was cold outside? oddly enough it works.

Hmmm, you jumped it and it's good and you have a new battery. Shouldn't be dying like that, cold or not.

Well for infiniti to diagnose it is going to cost $100 bucks anyway I can get around that, I would like to get a full inspection of the car which I probably should've done when I first purchased the used vehicle, lesson learned.

Thanks.
