I'm Sad

I was at www.hual.com today looking at there sailing schedules. Here is what I found.

Dept. Japan-----Arrived NY
1/25----------------3/11-----------Hual Trover
2/7------------------3/16-----------Marine Ace
2/24----------------3/28-----------Hual Traveller
2/27----------------4/3-------------Hual Treasure
3/27----------------5/6-------------Haul Tribute

Based on this, if my car is made in March (C order) then I probably won’t see it until Mid May. Does anyone know if they may add more shipments to their schedule? Does anyone know the port that they leave from?

This will make it 18 weeks from the day I ordered it (1/11/03).

Can some one make the pain go away?

I ordered the July b4 the car even came out and had to wait till February to get it. I know how you feel. Don't worry it is worth the wait.

Better hope that there isn't a war. That will add another 90 days to your wait :-(

Re: I'm Sad

dude those shipping dates are to New York.... i thought they arrive in the LA docks.....
How can a boat sail from Japan to NY???? you'd have to go thru the panama canal i assume
I was told that the ships go from japan straight to California...then shipped by truck to its destination.

Here is the itenerary of the Hual Tribute. I think they take them off on the east cost? But don't take my word for it. I am also assuming from other posts that Nissan/Inffiniti used Hual. See www.hual.com.

retarded thread. makes no sense. how would you know nissan uses Hual to ship stuff...anyway dont be so sensitive about when your car ships/arrives, it aint no big deal, you've waited this long, im sure you can wait another 1-2 weeks...

It would be nice if Infiniti could compete with the order tracking that BMW has. My brother ordered his wife a 525 last spring and was able to track the order through the whole process. He knew what day the frame was ready, what day certain major components were being installed, and even what day the car was being painted.

More importantly he knew when it rolled onto the ship, and an exact port ETA and dealer ETA. It turns out the tracking was important because he elected to take the perfomance delivery in North Carolina and noticed that the car was loaded on a truck and destined for the dealer in Atlanta. He made a call, the car was removed from the truck, and delivered properly to the factory in NC.

This is how the G's should be delivered....
Delivery

And....if your a true enthusiast, this will appeal to you...

Too Cool
