I can get a full clear bra (bumper, hood, and mirrors) all installed for $395 at the Dealership using 3M brand material. Is it worth it as I assume alot of this cost will not be recoverable when I sell the car.

I am just wondering if it is a good investment at this price.

It may depend on the quality of installer. Practically speaking, it is a very good deal. But theoretically, the installer could suck so bad that letting the paint chip is a better route (lol).

 

I paid $600 for mine. It's great so far, just wish I got it earlier. No one offered it to me at the dealership and I didn't know it existed until months later. Go for it. Usually they're warranteed for as long as you own your car and they'll replace it if something goes wrong with. Ask about that first before you decide. Hope this helps...

How hard is it to take the clear bra off? For example, say you were returning a leased car that you got a clear bra on.

$395 is cheap...where is that at???

 

In Houston, the dealership lets one of the local companies do it there and they don't mark up the price at all. I believe it is through Clear-Tek.

even with a marginal install, possible because the G is a 4 of 5 star difficulty on the guides, its worth $395. If the install is *that* crappy, they would have to redo it. Honestly *alittle* stretching isnt a big deal. I was at a meet and most everyone had some stretching, but I could only see it with polarized sunglasses.

You'll feel so relieved once its on.

 

That's a great price. I would recommend getting it, especially on a dark color.

395 sounds really good i got a price of around 600 near me - which i still find a good investment - i dont have a G yet but i am getting prices on everything that i know i am going to get right after i get the G lol...mann i cant wait to get my G lol!!

 

where do you get the clear bra done?? just the front? or rear also?

is 750 for front and rear a little expensive???
