Questions about the coupe's foglights
 

I dont' have my coupe yet. *It's a Z order which should be here within a month or so* But I know that the "fogs" use an H4. The lows act as a fog, and the high for high beam. My question is, can the "fog" light be turned off?

Reason I'm asking, is that I'm going to do a conversion on it to where they shine deep yellow...like the IS300 foglight yellow color. And I wouldn't want to have the fogs on all the time.

Yes you can turn them off.

yeah man some people have tried that on here, with PIAA ion yellow bulbs...do a search im sure you'll find tons of posts, even pics [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Just took my Piaa Xtreme White H4 (55w) out and stuck in Piaa Ion Yellow H4 (80w) today. Looks pretty good.... the yellow is very bright. I like the contrast, but I still need to get use to it. I just hope the 80w bulb doesn't start burning all my wires and relays, but so far so good.....I just leave my fogs on all the time. I'll post some pics soon.... "Luxman" did this to his car as well and he posted some nice pics.....

I know how the PIAA ion yellows look, but I'm going for a more dark deep yellow. Like the IS300 fog light yellow. I've got a way to make them that color. Thanks for the tips guys! Hopefully when my car gets here in a few weeks I'll be able to post pics of my custom mod.

You don't drive an IS man....you're getting a coupe. Not 100% sure how your mod is going too look, but I'm fine with the Piaa Ion Yellow. Good luck and post a pic when you're done......

Uhh...yeah I know I dont' drive an IS300. just using that as a reference to how my fog lights will look when my mod is complete. But yeah I'll definately post pics when it's done.

There's a twisty on the headlights lever, left side of steering column that turns the fogs on/off.
