WTF??? My coupe's ETA is pushed back!!!
 

Damn, I ordered this thing back on January 7th and my salesguy told me it'll be here around the end of March. Then just yesterday(3/11/03) he told me it won't be here until end of May!!! Is this guy for real? or did he just forget to order it until later? Man, I really hope its worth the wait.

p.s. i know its worth the wait, but i'm just getting really antsy :)

haha you can wait dude, you have a nice car anyway...i love those g20t's...its definitely worth the wait...your dealership probably got a lessened allotment of G's the past couple of months, thats why its delayed, basically your G is a March Order, April Production, May Delivery (When in May? Depends where you live and luck, could be first week, could be last week of May)

someone might have bought it. sucks but it happens, some guy walks into the dealer right as ur car is unloading, he likes he buys it and u are pushed back. cant blame the guy either what is he suppoesed to say no i cant buy it cause someone who he doesnt even know has a deposit on it.

If yes, glad you made the upgrade like me. I was wickedg20 on g20.net. You had the clean white G I believe. Anyways, It is definately worth the wait, you will enjoy it, I certainly am!

I would call and be sure he has one.
No order # = no car!

Well if it makes you feel any better, and it probably won't, mine, originally due in March, was pushed back also. I got the same story as well. Actually my guy told me April, and he said he'd let me take another one with similar specs but not the same color. I figured I might was well wait for the one I ordered.

that sucks... why can't they ever tell people the right information... for me i ordered in january also and they told me june or july! sounds right to me.. but sooo long!

That sucks man. I didnt even order one. I called every dealership in Southern Cali last weekend, and found a CB w/ Nav in Palm Springs. Called them, and drove down there and drove my new baby home. I've been in love since.

Yo Wicked, thats me, I'm glad i'm upgrading also...i'm already thinking of buying stuff for it, and i don't even have the car yet lol

thats funny how we both migrated from g20.net to here lol, is there anyoneelse you know from g20.net that upgraded?? i thought i saw boogie but i wasn't for sure

You know, they're that way in service too. I wouldn't mind so much if they gave me a straight answer up front, but when my cd jams and a new one will be in "in about a week" and two weeks later "they're backordered, could be tomorrow, could be next week," -- I get agitated. It took a month. Then they tell me they send the unit off, and the CD's will be shipped back "in about a week," and a month later, "it takes 60 to 90 days." Still don't have them. :/ At least my unit hasn't jammed a second time (knock on wood -- or simulated wood grain dash plastic, which ever is closer).

In situations like this, all I expect is a simple "Hello, my cd player is jammed." "Okay, we'll order you a new one, but they're on backorder right now, and once we do swap it out, it'll be another 2 or 3 months before you get your CD's back." Is that too much to ask for?
