Driver's Door not locking?
Hey guys, I've read a little bit up on this, but wanted a confirmation for my particular problem. I did a search prior, but yeah.
I drive an 04 auto G35, and my driver's door will not lock. The lock moves very very very little, but doesn't lock (even though the passenger side does and the alarm noise comes on). I can do it manually, but it's not working with the button inside the car, or on the keys.... What's the problem? I think I'm out of warranty too. :icon11: |

I've got the same problem, mine started acting up about two weeks ago. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Either way, be sure to make sure your door is locked after you park!
Infiniti wants $112 to diagnose the problem, for a total of ~$500 to fix ... seriously. I'm certain I've seen like a $50 DIY fix on here before. That might be the route to go as you're out of warranty. |

i had da exact same problem couple weeks back. thank god i still got my warranty!

actuator could be the problem. if it's intermittent the motor or mechanism inside could be going bad.
just my .02 |
Had this same issue fixed on my 04 Coupe last week. Parts = $230, labor =$135. Luckily it was covered under an extended warranty. I believe there is a DIY on here somewhere on how to fix it if you want to have a go at it yourself.
