After searching cai's still not sure just need a little bump!!

Alright guys i searched so much on cai's and really like the injen because of not getting heat soaked and seems like the best one for performance, and will gain hp at higher speeds because of the more air its getting, correct? I dont like the popcharger, and the stillen is to stock looking now. Will i feel a power difference betweena drop in k&n with z tube or injen cai. Now i know about the water with the injen but they sell a outerwears for it so ill get that. If the injen is as good or better performance than the k&n and z tube them im getting that. I know that the injen will be louder which i want. But i seen people say u wont feel a difference but i just want to know what makes more power hands down not what u feel. So if anyone dynoed, what gives the most power "proven". The popcharger is out of the question, it looks cheap imo, but the stillen is still in the mix. Just someone tell me straight up what gives u the best performance hands down. Thank you

On a dyno, you should be able to see more power with a short ram with the hood popped, and a fan placed to blow cool air there... But does that mean it makes better power for the streets? No. A true CAI takes in more air as you're driving like a ram air intake, but the stock intake already does that. The only difference is you'll be taking the filter out of the hotter ambient temps of your engine bay. But there is no way to really dyno the difference here. But... CAIs usually transfer power from the low to the top end, and that might not be as good for daily driving, although I have no problems with it.

So do u prefer the cai or injen

Have you looked at the one by R2C performance?

injen makes a cai, it only wouldnt be a cai if you got the version that you could take off one pipe and make it a sri

Well, do you want power, looks, or sound? Because you'll be making a sacrifice somewhere with either.

nismo cai are the best, noticed a little gain top end nothing crazy, and sounds amazing

Well i want best performance, but sound is my next one, then looks i dont want the popcharger look is sucks.

Like I stated earlier... if you don't mind losing some low end for more top end, go with the CAI. Otherwise, stick with stock set-up because you won't make power when you change your intake out. Better yet, get a stock box from an 05/06 because of the better velocity stack. Just get a z-tube new filter and maybe get rid of the lower resonator. It won't really sound any louder, but it'll flow better.

bump

ust read on intensepower.com that the stillen produces more power than injen but is that because of the dyno and the fan and stuff? Also im interested in hfc's ive seen FI and berk those seem the most popular is that the right choice? or are there better ones? thx
