The reason there is glass on your hood is because they used a crowbar or something with a hook, sharp end goes in clean but when pulled out brings quite a bit of glass with it. The guy who did it is an idiot and probably pulled the glass toward him eating ****.

Sorry to hear.

Hey glad I could get you situated at least you can sleep better tonight knowing that your car is secure.

I looked up that window regulator for you.
Riverside Window Regulator
Regulator Right 03-07 $95.15 $77.07

4DGS it looks like that is exactly what happened.
They even messed up the plastic guide that situates the window to the front rail
on the window regulator. I was able to bend the metal but the plastic is cracked.

Either he doesn't know or it's a lifetime subscription. Is the actual serial number of my XM in the dash or is it part of my antenna on the roof? If I keep my antenna can I use my existing subscription with a new head unit?
if i would have broken into your car. i would have stolen your black interior lol.. im sorry im trying to make a bad situation funny... sucks for the thiefs and yourself

the pieces are probably on your roof, because when they broke the glass, there were probably some remainders holding together on the bottom edge. they didn't want to open the door since it'll set off the alarm, they didn't want to reach into the car with the remainders on the door since they might get cuts reaching in, and lastly they didn't want to knock it off because if it hit the ground it will cause more jingling glass noise, so they gently took it off and put in on your roof.

im just wondering how the pieces of the shattered glass got on the roof like that and the front window. never really seen it happen before but just seems strange where it is placed..
hope everything turns out ok..

That sucks. The thing about the stock alarm is that it will not go off if your windows are broken or your car is being jacked up. I recomend getting a shock sensor installed which will make the stock alarm go off for anything (kind of like having an aftermarket alarm on your OEM one). The only way the stock alarm goes off is if the doors are open.

06g35meister glad they didnt make a mess of your car by trying to pull your gauges out.
