Weird smells on the freeway
 

I just recently noticed that when i accelerate on the freeway i can smell something coming from my car. Its always when im accelerating hard (going up to about 5500 - 6000 rpms) to get on the freeway. I dont know where its coming from, because it goes away quickly and i cant even get off the freeway and pop the hood to check it in time. Anyone have the problem? I did accidentally redline the car in second gear one time. Could this be a result of that?

Other than picking up debris like plastic bags and such, and them burning on hot pipes, only other thing I can think of is under the hood. Any oil leaking from the rocker covers? It has been a rare issue and might cause a problem.

I can only smell it when the windows are down.
