i noticed the other day that the area of my dashboard on the passenger side of my coupe rattles a bit

it happens most when i am going 25-40mph and especially when i go over a bump, even a small one

any ideas?

Either the black under panel that just pops off below the lower glove box or it's the upper glove box. You can pop the lower panel off and see if the rear part closest to the firewall is up over the two hooks back there. Otherwise it could be any of the 179 other rattling parts in the G...

got the same problem, sports cars just rattle because of there rigid suspension and rock solid tires. you have to spend 70K on a corvette to get rid of them, and even then there not gone.

If your G is a 03 or 04 get used to it and be happy this is the only rattle you have, if its newer, you might want to fix it if its really bothersome and if its new enough, bring er' back in for warranty.

179???????? You might be on the conservative side. Our cars can sound like a symphony with rattles coming from every part of the car. Fit and finish is definitely not a strong point for Infiniti.
