i bought my G with aftermarket rims but then switched them to 19" OEM rays i just got and all the rims don't sit fully against the
hub (no matter how hard i push).. is this normal? also i am using muteki lug nuts that was used on the aftermarkets, are these lug
nuts ok to use on OEM's? (proper 'seating'?) HALP!

not sure what else to take pics of, it's like an invisible spacer!

Take the wheel off and take pics of the hub and wheel.

HenryLee Feb 20, 2010 03:37 AM

Is that the front wheel? If so you have to take off the extra bolt. I could be wrong.

Or do you still have the hubcentric ring still in place? I think you still have the hubcentric ring on from your aftermarket rims.

Are you trying to install the rear wheels in the front? If so, it isn't going to fit.

Jairen Feb 20, 2010 03:42 AM

I was thinking the same thing.

Make sure you have the front and rears correct. They are different.

HenryLee Feb 20, 2010 03:43 AM

^ the rears will fit on the front. I had oem 19's and basically ran 4 rear wheels all around.

if someone can take a look at their G if there's a "gap" real quick that'd be great :)

MJ-G35 Feb 20, 2010 04:07 AM

2 days ago bro and I could of helped ya, I just put 25mm spacers on all 4's.

Blue Dream Feb 20, 2010 06:35 AM

NO gap here on an 05 sedan. I don't have any experience with hubcentric rings but my hub looks different.
