Who's annoyed of the one piece headlight unit?

Hey folks,

What bugs me is the one piece headlight unit and there is one small bulb (the line going down by the edge) is out and apparently it's gonna be a pain in the anal to replace that one.

what gives?

Also one of the tab holding the light unit bolted on to the frame has broken off. wth... any tab repair kit available?

That line going down the edge is called the clearance strip. Just want to give you a heads up before people on this site crack on you. Its not tough replacing that bulb. You just gotta take off the front part of the fender liner. Jack the car up. Its one screw and a few trim clips. then you have easy access to the light.

Do you still have the plastic piece that broke off. Which one broke off? There is no repair kit if you dont have that piece. One tab doesn't generally affect the way the housing sits.

Some people take the wheel off for more room, but you can turn the wheel to the inside and be fine. One you get the fender liner out of the way, it's pretty cake to replace.

Could I access the ballast the same way?

Yessir. I thought my driver side D2R bulbs went out. I was able to pull it out the same way as you would the clearance strip and and be good.
