What's a 3rd brake?

My wife just came back from the Nissan dealer after having the oil change and a multi-point inspection. On the paper work it says " Requires Immediate Attention - 3rd brake"

Yeh, that's what it's referred to in the shop world. 3rd brake light bulb usually or high mount stop light..

Usally on the spoiler, rear windshield. Somewhere usally useless that no one else notices.
