I did my very first oil change today at home. I feel pretty good after doing it. After investing about $150 on tools, ramps, jacks, oil, filter, ect, I think I'm going to save plenty later down the road.

Definitely will save you money in the future man. Plus, you can offer to do it for your friends cars if they buy you lunch or beers. Win win win.

+1. it's always more rewarding to do it yourself. you'll feel a sense of accomplishment AND you wont have to worry about it being done incorrectly (assuming you know what you're doing).

i remember the first time i changed mine...the very first thing i thought was "DAMN! i need to get an adapter for my drill so i can take the damn undertray off faster"...haha.

No leaks so far. I guess I haven't been doing it because of the investment in tools and going out and buying stuff. It was a b*tch trying to drive up the rhino ramp the first time. I thought I was going to crash through the garage wall. hahah.

I love the sense of accomplishment of DIY. Yes it takes a little bit of money to get the tools and things you need, but the savings in the long run are well worth it. I knew nothing about G's when I bought my car a year and a half ago. Now I have swapped full suspensions, performed complete brake jobs, and done engine upgrades myself.

Thank you Driver and my friends over at CentexVQ. I never would have learned how if I didn't have these resources.

You have everything you need to make the job easy, jack it up one side at a time and place your jackstands. Unless your jackstands aren't blocks of wood or rocks don't worry about getting under your G....
