That Murci is pushing around an extra 150LBs so no competition....for the Lambo that is...even WITH the extra weight. We could probably beat them if we had 500HP-600HP...MAYBE.

This is just a 30 second spot(promo) for the new show. There were a series of pieces done about various cars(Phantom, Ferrari, Infiniti, Lotus) and some of the best stuff was put together into a 30 second video. Quick and to the point. Notice, before Ferrari or Lamborghini comes Infiniti!


NOTE: Before somebody bites my head off there is NO racing of any kind. The only "running with lambos" being done is the fact that the lambos are in same video a video where the G has the most air time and in some of the drives that have been done in the last month, the G-35 has been driven alongside many exotics including Lamborghinis. So please lay down your pitch forks and just enjoy the video! Extended video coming soon. :)

so basically what you are saying is if you take a stock g35 and double the hp we will beat a lambo.

I think the OP brings up reasonable thought, if the performance numbers under the hood were close then there wouldnt be much difference in how the cars run together

Well it's kinda the OPs fault... You can't make a thread like this and not expect smartass remarks.

My turn: With this reasoning, Honda Civics, Ford Escorts, and VW Passats can run with Lambos. Hell, throw enough into a Toyota Prius and it can run with them too (it's been done).

But the fact is those cars have 6-digit price tags. Ours are 3x thousand new. When the sun goes down, a G35 is a G35 no matter what you do to it, and it will never compare to a Lambo/Ferrari/R8/whatever.

LOL, I love threads like this.

Promo for new "favorite things" type show that will have a lot of focus on cars but it is not a car show. Will showcase some cool cars and also inform about tech. Stuff like:

Most HP under 20 grand
best first exotic
best exotic for the TRUE driving enthusiast

There will be some things that will be like reviews, but it is no top gear.
