Hey guys.

I have a 04 g coupe.

The silver part of my interior has a few nics and scratches(bought it that way)...Im taking in my car to get my bumper fix (got into an accident earlier in the week)..anyways Im gonna ask the body shop to paint the interior parts as well...just to get an idea, what price should i look for? i don't want him to low ball me. I don't know how much he would charge you, but why don't u just do it yourself? Go buy a can of silver spray paint and some clear coat. You'll knock it out in about 3-4 hrs and saved yourself a lot of money.

it really isn't. the only tedious part is removing the panels, which is just screws and grunt. The rest is just 5 minutes of sanding and watching paint dry, which you could do a layer of paint, go in have a beer watch tv, come back out layer of paint, go back in, have a beer, layer of clear coat, go back in and jerk it, then put the panels back on the car.

Um, I'd use 800-1000 grit just to scuff up the surface so the primer and paint adhere correctly to the surface. Also, don't forget to wipe the surface with a soapy towel and dry it before starting just to remove any grease, dirt, or gunk that is still on the trim pieces.
