6'8 coupe driver

So as the title states I am 6'8 and fit very comfortably in my car.. Obviously no one can sit behind me and I have the seat lowered all the way.

Now I saw a while back that talked about a mod where you can lower the seat by moving the bolt up the threads under the seat. Now my question is how the hell do you fit your hand underneath there and be able to see anything?

Any suggestions would be great, I would really love the seat to be a little bit lower. Also does that void the warranty in anyway shape or form? I have an 04 6MT and bought a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty.

Thanks so much

Put your seat up and all the way forward. You will then be able to get a wrench in to adjust the nut. It is crimped at the factory to not be adjustable, so the first wrenching will take some torque. I ended up being able to put the seat down about an extra inch.

You can gain a little on the front screw rod the same way as well. Kind of a pain reaching it, and you can only move it a little at a time, but its worth it, for about another inch or so (feels like more)

Yea I read that post but my problem was getting my hand under the seat and being able to look at what I was doing and apparently it's because I only had the seat moved all the way forward and not raised as well lol
