1st: Mustang is not in the same class as the G35. Any magazine or automotive source will tell you that the G35 and the Mustang are in two different classes.
2nd: Are you saying that because the G35 is a bit stiff, the M3 or CLK55 or SL65 or the S4 or the RS6 are not luxury? I have sat in or drove all of the above mentioned cars (except the SL65) and believe you me, they are luxury.
3rd:Someone that buys a Lexus...they don't buy it for sport or performance. They buy it for comfort. Have you driven an SC430 or a GS430? They are quiet, smooth, and comfortable but sporty would be the last thing I would call those cars.
4th: Who cares if you want a Mustang over a G35?

You can't compare a V8 stang to a V6 G.....but looking at two cars is like night and day.......the G is a masterpiece compared to the crappy stang

 

I use to own a 95 GT back in my highschool days and loved that car... I just had bad experiences with the dealership and told myself i'd never buy another one... My friend works for ford and they were giving him such a hard time to about the A plan on the 03 cobra (which is badass), so he didnt get it. My uncle works for nissan and we went to the infiniti dealership got my car with all options except navi for 32g..simple and easy process.

 

IMO, the G is a much nicer looking car than a 2005 Mustang.
The Infiniti name brand is a status symbol, Ford is not.

I am not bashing Ford or the Mustang in any way, because
the Mustang is part of American automobile history. I've previously owned two mustangs and they were both fun to
drive and easily modified.
I still love my G, but I can't be a Mustang hater. I just had
to much fun driving those cars. I can just appreciate them for what they are, a moderately priced sports car that is pretty powerful. No more, No less.

I think mustangs are WAY PLAYED OUT IMO.

Comparing a 40K to a 25K is a big difference. INFINTI vs. FORD? Not trying to hate but my MOM has a 2003 FORD EXPIDTION Eddie Bauer and i dislike it because i know it will give problems soon and the service is very bad

My cousin the other day telling me that G's is played out (he has a 04 Accord V6). I ignored him because when i had my 03 accord V6 i traded it for the G because my cousins were getting it and THEY DID. Told him straight up you cant compare a 40K car to a 25K.

My other cousin who has a V6 mustang with dual exhuast and intake, yesterday, just got a turbo'd eclipse. Why? because his mustang got beat by a STOCK INTEGRA and a Stock RSX.

As soon as the new ones come out they will be at every corner. Even the girls will be drivin those V8's.

 

Seriously guys... everytime one of these threads come up, I feel like we're on a Bimmer Board - I hate it when people think their car is "superior" than anything else on the road... seriously - who in here would not trade their coupe for a C6 'Vette? I sure as hell would - Ferrari performance and handling in a $50k package... and wait until the new Cobra comes out, it is going to blow minds! It's not going to look anything like the new GTs out there, it's going to be a totally different body (similar to the wide-bodied show car), with power exceeding the 'Vette's and handling to nearly match... but then comes along the new '06 Z06 - and everyone and everything is left in the dust... can you say 500hp?!? For $60k? The new Z06 and GT-R are fighting it out to see which is going to be on my "next car" list...
