Couldn't find my answer in search

Hey guys, ive decided to get a custom exhaust from this place in dallas called kinneys muffler shop (kinneysmufflershop.com) [if you want to see the exhaust go to videos, scroll down, click on video library, then click the 350z performance exhaust it has a audio clip and info and a video and everything. the website is werid, only has one link for everything]
Anyways, the whole exhaust is custom, it's going to change out the y pipe for an x pipe, its 2.5" mandrel all the way. He changes everything but the cats.
Now for my question
Should i take up HFC's with me for him to put on (http://www.importpartspro.com/kihiflsmleca1.html)
or
Should i have him put on test pipes (http://www.importpartspro.com/kisscatdetep.html)
Now heres the part that i couldnt find in search
If i get the HFC's ill never have to swap them for emission testing, but if i put in test pipes, ill have to swap once a year
I cannot swap them myself, so would it be worth the pain to pay for reinstallation of the OEM cats, and then the removal of the OEM cats, twice in one day, once a year for inspection? (ill have them removed in Houston, not dallas)
Thanks for the feedback guys
Oh and ill be posting pictures of my ride so you guys can finally see her

I say go with HFCs and avoid the hassle.

Only problem i can see in the future is that you dont know how a custom exhaust sounds with t/p's or hfc's. It can entirely change that exhaust clip you had for better or worse. Getting up under there is a non factor once a year to unbolt i believe its around 6 bolts each side. Alot of people get the test pipes n then realize there is alot of rasp and hate them. Just my two cents. Have you asked the shop if they have any info on someone before you that put them on.

btw i have hfc's and mine is deep and more of a growl now.

Ask the guys at Kenneys if HFCs will make their exhaust too loud, if not go with them. You don't need the PIA/cost of changing our test pipes yearly....
