Car doesn't start! Engine won't turn
 

Hi,

I did not use the car for about a week. Now when I try to start the car I hear the starter working but the engine is not turning. I figured it would be the battery or something so I slow charged the thing but it was not good.

What could it be?

Could it be that the battery cables are a bit loose and not making a tight connection?

I will verify that but the strange thing is that I can hear the starter working. Also there is no clicking noise which I figure is what I would hear if the battery is dead or not making contact.

Sammy, his car would still "Turn Over" if he was out of gas. If the battery's up and it won't kick over it's the starter solenoid not engaging the flywheel, that's when you get nothing/zero. Try a jump start, if that doesn't work look at the starter!
