Odd Shift RPM's

So i've noticed lately when "getting on the G" its rpms seem to be going crazy. Instead of immediately having the rpms go down when you shift they stay up and then rev up really weird when you give it gas. Its almost like its catching and trying to continue where it was. I think something is wrong. Clutch?

Feels like i'm in a sling shot. I don't think this is normal?

It makes me think im riding the clutch.... when im not.

(this entire post may be a fail) lol

Cant say for sure but, it could also be electrical. Take it to the dealer

This is exactly happening to me too. Anyone know why? I own an 04 6mt.

Thanks for the response. How many miles did you have on the original?

I am at about 65k and I think my brother launching the car has lead to this issue I am having.

yup time for a new clutch, check with the vendors for good, respectable sellers. Clutches can last all the way up around 100k+ in a few cases, depending on how well you drive and how easy you take it, or the opposite is true. You are somewhat in the middle and probably not too bad on it.
Edit: nvm I was talking to the 65k guy, at 35k ya the clutch is being abused if you are "normal" driving and not tracking/racing.

Sweet, I must be a MT driving fool - I have never owned a AT car. I just changed by clutch - not because it was slipping, but I had about 110K and knew it was just a matter of time. Dealer say when it starts slipping chances go up that the flywheel will need to be replace. That changes the price from 1400+ to 2700..from the dealer... Think after I get my SC, I'll change the flywheel too..
