Looking to get a Coupe for the wifey :)

G37 Base coupes go as low as 20k here in AZ, so make a trip anywhere out of state and buy a car. 16k for an 04 coupe is outrageous. It's a 7 year old car. I'd offer him 8k for that thing with the issues it has. Make that 6k. The exhaust is also not aligned. Must have been a hell of an impact.

Then again, I prefer the body of the 35 over the 37.
Don't buy it, even for $6k. Sure, it's cheap but are you willing to bet it's issues don't outweigh what you're saving?

This is a bad move. If you have to borrow money from family and friends to get a car, I say just hold on and save. By then, you'll probably find a better G out there.
For 10k, a more reliable car would be better. Like a civic or camry. That G is going to cost you more in the long run. Plus it's a rebuilt so who knows what else is wrong with it.

^ But you're on a budget and you taking a few loans to purchase a 10k Salvage vehicle. LOL
Driving in style and low budget don't mix.
Only thing you'll do is maybe park in style? Because it's going to spend most of the time in a shop.
The G isn't a low maintenance vehicle. Especially after a certain miles when things start to fall apart.
Valve Cover Leaking oil at 60-70k.
Cost to replace: $700+
Compression Rod Bushing will start to crack and make squeaking noise. At least $300
Tires every 15k or so (avg lifespan) since the G comes with Horrible alignment problems straight from the factory. Cost: $800 at the very min.
Window Motors, Door lock mechanism, tend to fail by this time. Don't know how much this will cost. A lot of people use rebuilt motors or buy some autozone replacement.
You're willing to do that yourself?
Not to mention the schedule maintenance for this vesicle. Yes you can take it to Nissan.
Again, this car isn't a Camry. You actually have to take care of this car.
Add the cost of insurance, and so on. Wait, let me guess, you'll just get liability?
Woman driver plus G35, Plus Liability.
Good luck my friend.

I see what your saying but I have personally owned 2 g35 coupes and a sedan, all the problems you have described, were not on any of the cars I owned...
I did decide though not to pursue this particular g35 and started looking at other cars as well...
that and you sound a little condescending...all Im asking for is some opinions but whatever...
