Just replaced my driver side cam position sensor on my 2003 G35 sedan because I had the P0345 error code. Initially I was getting the usual symptoms for that code so after I replace it and reset the ECU my dash is still it up... and my idle is jumping up and down. Basically it made it worse. Anyone have any recommendations? Lights that are on are: VDC OFF, SES, and SLIP.

More details:
Before replacing anything the car would occasionally hesitate during acceleration but no lights were on the dash. It started to become more frequent and yesterday the hesitation occurred and the SES, SLIP and VDC OFF lights all come on. Went to Advanced where I scanned the P0345 code and bought a driver side cam sensor. This brings us to today.
Today I get home no problems, the car hesitated maybe once on my way from work but when I get home I install the sensor/reset ECU and fire her up all the lights come on. Idle is now sporadic and acceleration is practically non-existent. It acts like the RPM limiter is set to about 2300 rpm's. Haven't had a chance to get it scanned again either.
Since replacing the driver side sensor made it worse I don't think replacing the passenger side sensor would help either... Is it possible that my oem sensor was shot and Advanced's part was even worse?! That doesn't seem likely. From what I have read the throttle body is another thing that causes this type of behavior. Should I give that a cleaning? Or does that not make sense for my problem?
