Dropped G's

Okay so if i lowered my car and if i wanted to park in my drive way i would definetely scrape....so is it worth dropping if i park on the side :D
need some tips!! As of now Im stock everything ! And I barely clear the driveway ! Im gonna be getting some 20's soon and that may raise the height of the car a tad bit

I used to scrape going in my drive way stock, then I lowered my car and now I go sideways one wheel at a time. There are a number of places I can't get into like the bank parking lot but if you are determined to lower your car and with 20's you will need to lower it, you will figure a way around things.

is it safe to park on the side?

Golden_Shower May 20, 2011 12:20 AM

Depends were you live, what part of your car scrape the driveway now.

Adil_G35 May 20, 2011 12:24 AM

right now i dont scrape anything stock...but ive checked and im pretty close lol other places i go like to college and work i will surely scrape

I was worried about this at first too then I lowered my car & I scrape on crap, just today my car went full on teeter totter status on a drive way lol I learned to stop caring about my underside of my bumper & stuff, no one see's it and a little scrape won't do anything, as long as it doesnt rub thru to a hole or crack it won't do anything.

Adil_G35 May 20, 2011 12:51 AM

yea i suppose. Is your body stock or you have kits?

G35SedanGrn May 20, 2011 01:08 AM

body is stock, all i scrape is my midpipe, sway bars, ypipe, and on really big things my muffler.

Adil_G35 May 20, 2011 01:14 AM

thats not bad things to scrape is it?

loki05 May 20, 2011 01:19 AM

they are built pretty strong so they can take a beating, but if you constantly scrape then it may open up holes and end up needing to be replaced

Adil_G35 May 20, 2011 01:22 AM

dammit...i dont wanna drop it now lol FML

G35SedanGrn May 20, 2011 01:23 AM

Yeah unless you scrape like 10 times a day pretty hard you should be good for a long while. underbody parts arent made of glass.

Adil_G35 May 20, 2011 01:26 AM

what kit should i get to drop it? tein?

bluedevils95 May 20, 2011 01:36 AM

How high is your car now? if your scraping maybe lowering is not so good for now.
