99 problems but a !@#$* ain't one
Well I have yet again another issue with the G
When revving the engine to above 4,000 when the rpms are falling there is a rattle/grinding(?) noise... happens around 2,000 rpms. here is the video I took. listen at the end of :01 second(s) and at :04 seconds. listen at the end of :01 second(s) and at :04 seconds. It has just started as in like this is week numero uno. Anyway thanks for the help guys |
Probably just something loose, most likely a heat shield. Shouldn't be too hard to find if you get the car in the air.

alright makes sense. It got outta the shop about 3 weeks ago. Didnt happen even after I drove from Dallas to Columbia Missouri (1.5 hours from STl +/- 1/2 hour.) The dealership did the total inspection... Can't remember the specific number of points.

Yeah just get someone to sniff around while revving it up, as said, heat sheild sounds suspect, or something similar, doesn't sound like a big deal either way :)
