What mileage should I stop considering turbo?

I have 105k on my g35 right now. I take very good care of it, but do you think its too old for turbo..? I dont want to spend 8k-10k just to blow it up in 3000 miles.. :confused2:

That's near impossible to say...there's are so many variables when it comes to the wear and tear of your vehicle...things that may not even be directly related to the drivetrain. Maintenence, replaced/repaired parts during the life of your vehicle, driving conditions, etc etc all come into play. I think if your vehicle has been properely maintained, you and past owners haven't ragged on the car, you do ALL the correct supporting mods, and you keep your boost at a realistic level....a turbo could be a consideration at any mileage.

I say do a compression test for each cylinder. If that's good, the car has a good maintenance record and the car does fine with oil consumption you can go a while on a turbo. I'd keep the PSI low though unless you build it up.

Ya, I have no oil consumption problems what so ever. I really like the Momentum kit. It look like it comes with everything including tuning and fueling. OR possible Powerlab kit
