I'm interested in knowing this as well. I'd love to be able to properly rotate my tires.

XLR8_ 05-10-2012 06:05 PM

woll i dont think i would rotate cuz oem rays are Front: 19"x8" Rear: 19"x8.5" .. but dont quote me on that...

crazynuts16 05-10-2012 06:05 PM

nope. Wheel size itself is staggered so you can't rotate. people have done it without causing problems but i wouldn't take the chance

You're fine running those sizes. Some people disagree because using a taller tire in the front will shift the balance of the car to the rear and raise the front of the car ~1/4" while also changing the circumference of the front wheel, which will affect the performance, but it's so minute.

its kind of like doing math in pen.
yea it can be done, but no one recommends it

245/40 is actually a thinner sidewall than the stock 225/45 so it wont raise the car or trip any sensors.... As far as rotating them though another member said it can be done without tripping any sensors either so i guess that parts optional.

DrewDrew 05-10-2012 06:44 PM

Lolwat. Never said anything about tripping sensors. Sensors have nothing to do with this question since he's running a square set up all around. Sensors only become an issue when you're running staggered sizes and the difference between them is 3% or more. :7:

Edit: You're right about it being .3" shorter. Sensors are still out of the question.

is any one running this set up??? thanks for the info guys..

Keggr626 05-10-2012 06:55 PM

TORETTO 05-10-2012 08:48 PM
