I even amaze my self sometimes! I curbed it at tim, two weeks before HIN Buff. and knew that it wasnt deep and did some research. Figured if i f'd it up i would just send them to ISS Forged. First i got a dremmel and got a alum. oxide bit #923, some sandpaper 220 400 1500 and 2000. Then a steel wool pad to the wheel and a bunch of polish.
First This::eek:

wonder if this would work on my stock rays they have some rash from previous owner.

JOKER Jul 12, 2012 06:09 PM

You got lucky that it's straight up gangsta aluminum and no finish of any kind on it.

You could easily smooth out the rash this way but you would need to paint them to get them to look the same.

dvandriesen Jul 12, 2012 06:46 PM

yeah there no paint atm but probably sending them out to be powder coated once i burn these tires up. What parts did you buy for the dremel i have the same dremel see the receipt for lowes in the background.

I used the alu. oxide bit #923 and a #413 for the dremmel and various sandpaper.
