Repainting front bumper, Have some Q's
So im doing some paint touch up. Im buying the paint from automotivetouchup.com and i am wondering if i should buy the clear coat from them or just buy the dupli color clear coat at a local auto shop. I have done paint before and have used the dupli color with out any problems. Just wondering if there is a big difference. Any thoughts? Im repainting part of my front bumper FYI.

Your repainting part of your bumper? which part? where are you blending it? what color is it?,not playing 20 questions either, haha, how you paint anything really depends on the color and how damaged it is and obviously prepping it correctly :)

I would use a clearcoat that is compatable with the paint I'm using. If it isn't in 6 months to a year it will start flaking off, you don't need that!

I decided to go with the clear coat they have on their web site. Yes i agree Gary i dont want to keep on painting it. I am repainting the whole front bumper. There is a small spider cracking of paint and lots of rock chips so im doing a DIY job on it. Yes i will be taking my time on the prep work. My Dad always says it will only look as good as the prep work. Its a TS-1 bumper and my G is Twilight Blue.
